Claude Péloquin Born in Montreal in 1942, the publication of Claude Péloquin's first volume of poetry, Jéricho (1963), established him at the age of twenty-one as a leading avant-garde poet. He lives in Montreal. Péloquin has published four books with Guernica. His most recent claim to fame was being selected to write the speech for Guy Laliberte to read while in space.
