A novel about seduction, which borrows from the detective genre and the psychological novel, offers a modern and original take on the Double.
The dramatic moments stand out vividly, while the essential, possibly the discovery of a new ethic for personal relationships that dismisses completely all seduction mechanisms, active or passive, is expressed at so many different levels throughout the novel that the requirements of both fiction and demonstration are fulfilled.
