Marco Fraticelli was born in Montreal in 1945. A musician and poet, he is an executive member of Haiku Canada, and the editor and publisher of the literary magazine, The Alchemist. His poetry has won awards in Canada and the United States. In 1990, he was a prizewinner in the Fifth Annual International Haiku Contest in Japan.
