Monique Tschofen
Monique Tschofen joined Ryerson in 1999 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English after teaching at Athabasca University and the University of Alberta. She has been a visiting researcher at NYU, Harvard, and Columbia, and was nominated for a Tier II Canada Research Chair at Athabasca University. Her publications in the areas of visual culture, postcolonial studies, and Canadian studies include textbooks on film and literature, literature and multimedia, and literary hypertext. Her poetry has appeared in Contemporary Verse 2, The Fiddlehead, and the New Delta Review.
