Karen McPherson
Poet and translator Karen McPherson lives in Oregon where she is an editor in the Airlie Press publishing collective. Her poems and translations have appeared in a number of literary journals and anthologies. A chapbook of her poetry, Sketching Elise, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2012. A professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Oregon, she has published two critical monographs: Incriminations: Guilty Women/Telling Stories (Princeton UP, 1994) and Archaeologies of an Uncertain Future: Recent Generations of Canadian Women Writing (McGill-Queen’s UP, 2006).
