Carole David is a poet and a novelist. In 1999, La Maison d’Ophélie was a finalist for the Governor-General’s Award for Poetry. She won the Émile-Nelligan Award for Terroristes d’amour and the Estuaire des Terrasses–Saint-Sulpice Award for Abandons. Guernica Editions
published her novel Impala in 1997.
