My Trip to Oaxaca is a poetic essay made on video. I was invited to be the official photographer for Michael Callaghan and Gabriela Campos' weddings. Yes, there were two weddings: one in Toronto, the other in Oaxaca. I follow and film friends in various situations. This is a film on love and marriage, and there is a vibrant scene where Barry Callaghan and Domenic Diamante dialogue on ethnicity, and an in-depth interview with one of Mexico's
leading novelist: Monica Lavin. The film will be presented at the Camera Bar (Toronto) in September. Showing
will also happen in other parts of the country. We will keep you posted as they occur.
